Project for 510 - Designing for Interactivity - Part 1

Here is a project I came up for my Designing for Interactivity course. COMET would be an interactive installation that would include performance, AR/VR, sculpture, projections, and kisses. An interactive play/labyrinth through various metamorphosis, digital to physical that would play with ideas of identity, scale, and home. There are 3/4 acts with the first being an intro. In terms of timing wise, that has yet to be figured out. But the FIRST ACT would be an intro act, with less performances, if only prerecorded ones as a way to set the stage. Audience members are able to interact with the installation through “cleaning the above ground pool” through a VR experience. The videos on the sides of the above ground pool would reflect that, the water would get more “pure” and “cleaner,” and the process would be more like a game. The THIRD/FOURTH ACT is the least developed at this point, but would involve more performances as the characters that come out of the pool/enclosed space would interact with the audience in some way.
